Longer Nights
Prairie dawn, 0600. Last month the sun was above the horizon. Fall is near.

Same here in the Arizona highlands. The mornings are colder and the sun is rising later. Winter is coming.
And for those of us who are night owls, it gets dark earlier and cools off faster once the sun goes down.
But here in Free America, it also means the noise level drops on the lower frequency bands, and the thunderstorm static crashes are gone.
And it's FINALLY cooling off... at least a little bit...

Yo are correct. Like a squirrel stashing nuts, I'm fattening the credit union account. I don't want to see dawn from that site this winter.

Most of us don't think about that.

Getting to the time of year Texas is habitable.
I'm looking forward to autumn. Heat and I don't get along as well as we used to.

I prefer fall. Like a slight chill in the air.
