OLD AGE AND TREACHERY WILL OVERCOME YOUTH AND SKILL.
And on the eighth day God said, "Okay, Murphy, you're in charge!"

Thanks, Sisty. I wasn't really sure of where Stout was located, other than "underwater". That's where the inlet to the water treatment plant is these days.
Stout was located near the South end of Horsetooth. Our Grandparent's farm flooded in 1923. Horsetooth started small which was enough to flood the farm. In the late 1940's what you see now was built as part of the Big Thompson project, aka the Colorado Basin water steal for those on the Western Slope.

That's odd. I lost all my guns when the canoe tipped over on the Brazos. Dammit.
Mine were lost in Horsetooth Reservoir when my $350 Craigslist boat rolled over.
Seems a lot of people are having boating accidents recently. Maybe the NRA needs some boating instructors to go along with the range safety officers.
There's enough iron in Horsetooth to show up from space....
Deep and cold. My maternal grandfather's farm is there, underwater, where my mother was born. They all relocated to Bellevue than North Park.
I'd love to do a magnetometer sweep in Horsetooth... Just sayin...

When it was built little of the town of Stout and the farms was removed. (But I get your point)
Our grandparents were at the Soldier Canyon end of Horsetooth.

I lost all mine in a terrible accident on the lake. So I guess it doesn't matter.

Given all the accidents firearms have suffered while boating, we must need boating safety lessons far more than firearm safety lessons.
