Last fall the voters in Colorado turned
down, by a large margin, Proposition 112 involving regulating the oil and gas
extraction industry.
In the same election Colorado went ‘blue’
in part by Polis spending $20 million of his own money to buy the Governorship.
Now the envirothugs are back with what is
essentially Proposition 112 as legislation.
Likely will pass and be signed into ‘law’.
My response in the “remarks” section?
Since "sanctuary" political entities are now all the
rage, why can't Weld County become a petroleum sanctuary county?
I think it is a great idea. Doubt any
state regulators can do their jobs without the co-operation of the Sheriff and
he has already made Weld a 2nd Amendment sanctuary county.
Rebellion comes in many forms IMO.

You need to build a wall to keep Californians out.
More like an immigration law with extreme vetting. (drjim will always be welcome)
Thank you, SIR!
That's why I always couch my response to "where'd you move here from" with "We made our CALEXIT...." -or- "We ESCAPED from Kommiefornia.....", and it always gets a smile.
@LL - There's a popular bumper sticker/T-Shirt here that says words to the effect that "We don't care of you came here from California as long as you left your politics there".
"Build the wall, lock her up" plays here well, too.....
I will say, excluding winter driving conditions, Colorado drivers could learn from California drivers. They at least seem to know how to merge and what a turn signal is for.
Wow, they ARE taking after California, aren't they!
I blame the ski areas. Brings in too much wealthy trash.
