Up Yours, Comcast and Management
Danny, the retired truck driver's response, to the Comcast monopoly in our building and the management rule that we can't mount our own antennas. Haven't had a chance to ask him how well it works.
There's not much over-the-air TV you can receive here without a decent antenna. The Denver stations are ~60 miles away, borderline "Deep Fringe" area. Cheyenne is only ~30 miles and shouldn't be too hard to receive, but those little "Miracle TV Antennas!!!" usually aren't.
The last time I had my little portable TV receiver up and running, all I could pick up was one religious channel, and one shopping channel. I suppose I should try it again "Just In Case" I need a TV without cable.
Hope that antenna's on the North side of the building, towards Cheyenne, or I doubt he'll get diddly squat.....
DrJim He is pointed SSE and only gets a few channels. Thinks me being on the third floor would do better, not that I'm interested. Comcast basic in this building is $50 a month. My internet only is $60.

He's either getting the Denver stations, or picking up Cheyenne bouncing off the Front Range!
The bad thing about TV going digital is that you either have a perfect signal, or you get nothing. No static, but then you can't decide when a signal is too weak and snowy to watch.

I haven't explored it with him. Not one of the residents I have much to do with, but I like his attitude.
