Haven't completely killed and removed my FakeBook account, but I deleted the bookmark. If one of my friends posts something I'll get a notice and I can go check, but screw everything else.
Similarly, I'm a member of several groups on FB that are like minded and important to me. They're the ONLY reason I haven't already erased my FB account. But I've made the switch to MeWe, and that's the only site where I'll now post my daily thoughts. I think we'll all be migrating to sites that allow free-speech as they become available.

Socialist Media will be changing and none of us know how much, but I think that posting pictures of puppies, or your cat is still acceptable.

Social media needs advertising money, which means viewers. Us renegades will still be allowed with automatic "fact checks" to besmirch us.

FB is a way for me to keep in contact with my very large number of relatives. Side benefit is poking the liberal ones with my "pot stirring".
