A relative and his family are moving to
Seguin, TX next week and a farewell party was held for them. Saw the Caddy
parked outside the venue.
Strangely, no one was using this parking
spot.
Later we drove by this gem. I believe it
to be a 1954.
This was parked nearby. May be a “kit car”.
Appeared to be mid engine. A logo was
on the bumper. The bumper looked a lot like an MGB.
Other than the occasional tornado, a
quiet Memorial Day.

The blue car is a DeTomaso Pantera. It has a mid-engine Ford 351, and a ZF 5-speed transaxle. They were sold by Lincoln Mercury dealers from late 1971 until 1975.
They're typical 1970's Italian cars, and come with built-in rust. I saw them with rotted out rocker panels all the time in Illinois. You did NOT drive them in slushy, salty weather - OR ELSE-.

I thought Pantera but that front bumper doesn't seem correct. Further checking the logo on the bumper says you are correct.

Have a line on a sweet 92' full sized Bronco. Manual, 4x4, owned by a master mechanic.
WSF, have you seen or heard of the new Ford Bronco, originally scheduled for roll-out in 2018, and now, I really don't know. If the 92 is as good is it might be, it's worth it's weight in --- well, not gold. Maybe lumber. But it would be a great catch for you to go up into the mountains and rumble with.
New Bronco scheduled as a 2021 model. Maybe even have some rust proofing. Once took a full sized Bronco up the old Rollins Pass railroad bed past Yankee Doodle lake. They are a rough ride. One well endowed female passenger was very uncomfortable. Vowed, "Never again".
I've owned a lot of vehicles. My favorite off road was a GEO Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick). Going way back, had a couple of International Travelalls. One 4x4 beast had locking diffs, a 392 cu V-8, and got 6-8 mpg. No Wyoming blizzard ever stopped it.
I hear OJ doesn't much care for Broncos anymore, I hear tell he's looking for a 77 Monte Carlo...you going to add him to your list, Fool?

Some cool rides there. A very quiet Memorial Day here, just me & the dog.
Easy day since I didn't drive.
Reminds me a bit of the failed British Leyland TR7 -- cheap today, understandably.
