Crazy Like A Fox?

Once again WSF goes down the rabbit hole with political speculation. You have been warned.

Why are the Democrats going ape shit? Makes no sense on the surface.

When President Trump was running, he dominated the news, for free, with Twitter. (Full disclosure. I don’t have a Twitter account, wouldn’t know how to use it, don’t want one, and only know what those who have accounts share). He kept the Main Stream Maggots in an uproar and his name was constantly in front of the public. Still uses it. Are others trying to copy, with a twist?

The (P)regressives are past masters at deflection, distortion, showing confusion, discord, smearing and outright lying. Until President Trump came along it was all going their way. They still haven’t recovered. Worse, from their point of view, the mid-terms brought in a whole crop of new people that, “Don’t have no proper fetchings”.

Pelosi, Schumer, their staffs and allies are damn smart and cunning. What to do? Use the nutjob New York bartender and the banko failed Georgia governor candidate, et al, to be their “Trump Twitter”. Let them dominate the news keeping the great unwashed distracted while they conduct business as usual.

These new comers are getting some “plum” committee assignments. Pelosi is betting they have no staying power and a year from now will find they have all the influence of a middle school student council on the running of the school.

Meanwhile, we of a rule of law bent need to ignore the monkeys and the circus. Instead, we need to keep our focus on the ringmasters, IMO.

Excellent point, but I DO wonder who, if anyone, is in control over there...

The easy answer is follow the money. Hard to do - they are smart people.

Money bought seats in the Virginia Executive Branch and the Virginia Legislature, and the hand picked minions are still falling like flies. Sometimes there are unintended consequences that even a power elite can't handle (case in point, The American Revolution). I would suggest that the Tea Party rose not as a function of financing but in spite of it. The Dems want a Tea Party of their own but it will backfire on them because it's built on 1000 different grievances. The Nuke a Gay Whale for Jesus movement has nothing in common with the Trannys for Satan and the Kill My Baby lobby. Likewise, the Dems can't deliver on their promises to literally any of those fringe players.

Money, yes, usually. But not always. And in this case, the lunatics are driving the Dem elite who want to be king. And the question is whether the American people will buy that. These are interesting times.

2020 is not that far away. Still, the average American voter has the memory of a house fly. They will forget Nancy Pelosi's government shut down (yes, it belongs to her, dad gum it), and her refusal to authorize even a dollar for a wall will also be lost to distant, long forgotten history in the minds of the house fly voter.

Unless The Donald keeps reminding us of how nuts the Dems are this time around. No burgers, airplanes or cars? I'm from Illinois, and I can tell you that this lunacy will not play in Peoria.

No way, no how.

What is the military term, the center can't hold? The leaders of the entrenched Democrats must be worried. How do they keep their power?

Correct. Too many voters have no staying power.
