Proud Grandfather

High School Junior, honor student since 1st  grade, and has her sights set on the Naval Academy. My late son’s daughter. Her brother is in the National Guard.

You deserve to be proud. I was proud also when my daughter was accepted at the Air Force Academy. She resigned after three years in disgust. Totally immoral, totally Marxist indoctrination. The academies are not what they were and are certainly not what you believe - and that is truly a pity.

She has come so far in her life and I see only greatness for her moving forward. Her parents (deceased & living) have every right to be proud of her. I am amazed how she has come through the trials in her life and so very thankful that the Egg Donor is not part of her life at all.

Sorry to hear that. She has a keen interest in aerospace and may end up at the U of Ariz. Should qualify for a ROTC Scholarship. She has family in Arizona.

Sisty
She has come so far after being rescued from theat drug house. The egg donor was living in the garage in a Colorado winter. Every penny spent on good lawyers was worth it.

Thank you.

DRJIM

Well done to her!

16 years old and I would say she has "command presence". She is a sweet person who was raised by strong people. Norwegian, Finnish, and Irish so the time between sweet and berserker is likely short.

I've said before... this is one of the only areas that gives me hope-
Our country still produces young people like this.
Kudos!
And Stuart-
The rotten changes in our country have come slowly, from within.
I wish your daughter had stayed in and gently harassed these idiots her entire career.
(But at least she got three free years of "education". Learning what's wrong is a strong lesson.)

Personally I hope she goes the ROTC route and not the Academy but it is her choice. The old soldier in me, who only once didn't get selected supernumerary at guard mount, isn't impressed by the appearance of some of her classmates. I imagine she and my dil spent time tailoring and pressing her uniform.
