The Peoples Republic of Boulder has
enough fruit and nut (P)regressives running around that the rest of the
population gets overlooked. As an example, the current bigamist and bad woman poster candidate.
Kind of makes your heart swell knowing we
still have characters that make this state interesting. Bet she doesn’t need
any “safe space”.

Suzette Ann Hall is a loving woman who has made a living out of rub and tug and topless barbering. It sounds to me as if she was born 150 years too late. In 1866 she could have made a good and 'honest' living in the Colorado gold fields.
Excellent point. As a young lad I knew several elderly "soiled doves". At the time my parents shielded me from that knowledge but accepted these woman as part of the rural community.

Tradition! The barber and cosmetology trade is highly regulated in Colorado with weeks of schooling, tests, fees, etc. Can't have people evading that. Multiple marriages complicates record keeping and makes the collection racket difficult. Silly you, you thought it was about morals?
