The Denver Post is highly partisan in favor of Democrats. I was shocked to read a lengthy article harshly critical of Emperor Polis and his running dogs misusing TABOR to try scoring political points ahead of the midterms.
Colorado is unique among states having embedded the Taxpayers Bill of Rights into the state constitution. This severely restricts how much tax money the state can spend. Surpluses are to be returned to the taxpayers.
TABOR has stopped the carpetbagger trust fund snots who buy their way into public office from turning Colorado into California lite. They do keep trying, bless their hearts.
Missing from the article is anything remotely favorable towards the GOP. Some GOP figureheads are quoted.
Are the American Media Maggots (h/t BZ) turning on the Donkeys? Or, are the elites who control the media starting to run scared and/or covering their bets?
My apology for not learning how to use hyperlinks.

Even more so reading the reporter's background.
TABOR was great until former Gov Hickenlooper won his court case saying that vehicle registration costs were “fees” and thus not covered by TABOR. We went from paying about $25/year for vehicle registration to a few hundred dollars per vehicle.
This happened AFTER implementing a state lottery system and legalizing pot “for the children” - these bastards always want more and they will always spend everything they get.
No longer a firewall but still a dike.
