The elite/oligarchs/China bought their man, Biden, so as to return to the ways that keep them in power and riches. How many readers doubt this?
The country is in an uproar and their plan has many detractors and outright enemies. Still, the plan is working. Perhaps they are channeling their inner Sergey Gorshkov, “Better is the enemy of good enough”. Let all of us “little people” howl so long as the plan keeps working.
Am I wrong?

Yep. We're screwed. How much will gas be this summer? $4/gal? $6/gal?
I don't even want to think about what this is going to do to our electric bill.....
"The beatings will continue..."
We find ourselves in this position because we've been "PC shamed" into keeping our mouths shut like good little sheep.
It's time to drop the disguise and start acting up.

If you have Xcel, you can get "FREE" solar panels!

I fear it is time for action, not words. The question is how?
"Xcel", doesn't. They're just a shill corp for the greenie weenies. We "buy" our power from Fort Collins, but I'm not sure who they "buy" it from. The way the grid is interconnected, and the way electricity is shared among power generating stations, is something I used to know quite a bit about.
ALL the generated power goes into the grid, and everything else is just bookkeeping as to who gets paid how much for the portion they generate. You have no choice in where your power "comes from", or how it's produced, which is why I bust a gut when I see bumper stickers on little electric shitboxes proclaiming "MY Car Runs On The Wind!".
No, it doesn't. It runs on electricity, which comes from The Grid, which pools all of the generated power in your service area, regardless of how it's produced.
These morons seem to think the windmills (and solar) are making electrons just for them!, and somehow only those electrons find their way into their car's battery.
And these people vote......and breed.....

My bill comes from Xcel, whom I loath. Lately I've seen the Leftist talking up "critical thinking". Of all the fossil fuels. coal has the highest BTUs. My Dad was a control room operator for years. The emissions coming out of a power plant smokestack has little, if any pollutants. There is an environment cost to strip mining and transporting coal. I doubt it is a much as windmills and solar panels. Folks like you and I are cursed with analytical minds and years of cost/benefit analysis. The Greenies don't suffer that burden, bless their hearts.
I always thought it was "Bless Their Little Hearts", but I'll defer to you.
Xcel is a joke of a power company. I read a lot about them, and I'm not impressed _at all_.
Coal burning power plants are quite clean these days, but you still have the problem of what to do with the ash. Solvable, depending on where you site the plant. Natural gas is even cleaner, but "Fracking BAAAAAD!" with little evidence to support it.
Solar panels involve manufacturing the cells, which is basically a semiconductor manufacturing process like microchips, and is inherently dangerous, as it uses tons of really nasty chemicals and produces tons of toxic sludge residue.
Either "Bless their little hearts" or "Bless their hearts" is acceptable. It is a gentile Southern way to say "Fuck you" and it's different ways of being used.
I rarely pass up a chance, usually on Facebook, to point out cobalt is mined by child slaves and 60 lbs is needed for electric/hybrid cars. My way of making smug Greenies uncomfortable.
Nope, you're pretty much on the money with that one!

Thank you.
The fix is in, and then some.

Let us hope the plan isn't,"good enough".
