While I no longer use this road on a
regular basis, this CDOT link is worth watching, IMO.
In the video you see the truck finally
stop short of a curve to the left. About fifty feet in front of the truck,
this is the view.
US 160 Walsenburg – Cortez is a visual
treat with a variety of scenery. Just don’t drive it with your head up your
ass, just saying.

Remember this?
I have been on that pass in many different weather conditions but have never been the driver. Probably a good thing.
C.W. had most things correct except having the tunnel on the wrong side.
I've been along that road in fair weather and it's spectacular. Not THE most spectacular drive in CO, a state known for spectacular, but worth the trip.
Year around, Red Mountain Pass. Summer only, Independence Pass into Aspen. 4WD? Many, and I haven't been on many of them.
Y'all can have that stuff... :-)
Spoken like a Cajun.
