Two of the ladies living in our apartment building enjoy decorating rocks. I find them to be a visual treat; a diversion as Banner takes care of his dog business.
Bridal Fashions
As an old fossil, I find these types of bridal gowns distasteful. One wonders just how serious someone is about joining a lifelong partnership wearing such a costume. Assuming the marriage lasts; imagine the reaction of grandchildren to photos in years ahead.

Those rocks would screw with your perceptions at a quick glance... And the young lady has the right idea! Best wishes to her!
Wow. Yeah, let everyone see everything on your precious bride. Bride AND groom showing off.

Bride dressed like that most likely has given everyone a look, just saying.

Given the part of Western Colorado the bride grew up in, she likely has solid values.
Funny you should mention this. My oldest cousin is one year younger than I. She is in her third marriage (she never had any kids) which, seems to be working. She was also ranch raised and went on to become the consummate executive professional in the ag banking industry. She is now retired.
I only attended her first wedding, and was emailed photos of her third. In that third wedding, her gown was very much like your classmate's granddaughter. And she kept her maiden name. Sorta one finger nail on the blackboard for me, but whatever floats your boat.
Just another fossil here.
We still have our daughter's "turtle rock" that she painted in second grade.

In general I believe everyone can go to hell in whatever manner they choose. Some activities are more serious, like mariage, or certain jobs (law enforcement, military, education). Treating them in a frivolous manner irritates me.
If the lady almost showing her lady-parts is the fashion, imagine what her grandchildren will be wearing (or almost not wearing) in their day.
The mind boggles.
