Spoiled Dog

Banner, the Lab, hates riding in a crate in the back of my truck. At 80 lbs, he is too big for the cab.

A couple of days ago I picked up this hooptie so he now has a back seat all for himself.

1995 Buick Regal, one owner, 167k miles, bought for $700. Thanks, SloJo! Sorry I didn't spend all the stimulus.

Banner approves!

The Buick is painted one of those "Blend Right In" colors!

Incognito is the best way for Brudder to travel. As long as Banner is comfy...that's all that matters. Plus it give WSF something to fuss and putter over.

That car is even more anonymous than my white Taurus.

The apartment residents suggest I get personalized plates, "BANNER".

Great idea except that your are too cheap to fork over the extra $$$. I don't mean cheap in a good way.

It fills the need. It is an old fart's ride. Opps, I qualify!

I ran a '98 Regal that same color as my work car and got out of it at 270,000 miles, give or take a few. Even then I would have not hesitated to drive it anywhere in the country. I don't get emotionally attached to cars anymore but it was a faithful steed for sure.

So far I'm pleased. It has minor issues, left turn signal, A/C compressor not engaging, and cruise control not responding. I'm to old and fat to crawl under the dash but will try changing the blinker relays, bulbs and fuses first. It easily passed emissions, is quiet, and has a lot of pep. Best part, got the title and plates today for $144 total. Another $25 for emissions, $25 for the relays, and I need to pickup some spare collant.
