Colorado once required safety inspections every six months. The one near the driver side A pillar reads 1992. The car probably spent most of it's life inside. I didn't notice it last month when I was there.
All original and unmolested, as near as I can tell.

Sweet! The guy who does the "Barn Find" stuff for Hagerty has been to Colorado a couple of times, and the "Roadkill" guys make regular use of some YUGE auto wrecking yard South of Denver.
There's still a lot of good, restorable vintage tin out there.
There is a business with over 50 vintage VW's along side Hwy 85 in Greeley. May try to get a snap and post it. I'm no fan of VW.
Are you going to buy it. The Studi is VERY clean, and it would be one of those project cars that even "I" might be able to tackle. (haha)
No, doesn't interest me. Now if it was a Hawk! Faster car I got a ride in high school days was a Study Hawk, 289 V-8, supercharged. Had a 180 mph speedometer. Optimistic, to be sure but the owner had it showing triple digits.
Bias ply tires and drum brakes.
Remember the Farrow's Avanti? That was an interesting car.

Ahhhh! To have bench seats and 3 on the column. Those were the days. We didn't have to get the girl in the back seat...
Bucket seats have drawbacks. With the three on tree, you could disconnect the connections at the firewall and flip the shift lever to the left side. Made for a funny shift pattern but did free up your right hand. Add red fingernail polish to the courtesy light bulb and you were all set.
Sandy Arnold, my first ever girlfriend in high-school, drove her Mom's Golden Hawk a lot. 289, 4-speed, and she surprised a lot of people in the Friday Night Stoplight Grand Prix we used to have....

Several "sleeper" cars are always around. Example, 1992 Ford LTD with "police pack".
