Moving On

Big Rigs Rolling

Unqualified big rig drivers are in the news every day. Safety is the reason.

Even Blue Colorado is on board.

MORE

The cynic in me says it is a job nobody wants being done by people nobody else will hire.

I’m sure DOT under Sean Duffy is working on ways to go after the employers. That is the root of the problem, IMO.

Drivers? They must be able to understand enough English to read road signs, do logbooks, and safety checks. What is harder to overcome is their attitudes. They don’t respect the way this country operates and our laws and regulations. Outlaw attitude.

Are there a lot of stupid rules? Of course, government at its finest.

Only one known member of Congress has a Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Senator Jon Tester of Montana. He holds a CDL and still drives a truck on his farm.

While other members of Congress have supported bills related to CDL regulation or the trucking industry, Senator Tester is the only one publicly identified as holding one. It is possible that other members have CDLs that are not publicly known.

The country needs those big rigs rolling. Legal immigrants, properly trained, should be welcomed, IMO.

Oh the Humanity! Green Welfare gone?

Blue Colorado is fighting back.

Precedent

Does the military belong on USA streets enforcing laws? Slippery slope.

(Shown, MacArthur lead troops dispersing the Bonus Army).

AI Overview

The Bonus Army was a movement of ~20,000 to 40,000 unemployed World War I veterans and their families who marched to Washington, D.C., in 1932 demanding early payment of their World War I service bonuses, known as the "Tombstone Bonus," which were set to be paid in 1945. After Congress refused to pass a bill for immediate payment, President Hoover ordered the U.S. Army, led by General Douglas MacArthur, to forcibly disperse the veterans in July 1932, using tear gas and violence to burn their camps.

PDJT declares Antifia a terrorist organization. Does he have the authority? Probably not .

Being a true old fart (eight decades on this planet) with a long memory, I know Presidential Executive orders were once rare. Now they are common. Depending on your political slant, you may find them wonderful, or you may find them abhorrent. In any case, my grandchildren’s future will likely be governed by them. That gate will be hard to close.

At the moment, PDJT is seeking War Power from Congress. Will he get it? If not, will he go ahead anyway?

Must Work Harder, Falling Behind

Cot next to the stove

Both LL and LSP are trying to secure a better cot location in the upcoming education relocation camp. Hopefully, this blog will elevate my status among Deplorables. Likely it won’t matter as there won’t be fuel for the stove.

Just shoot them

I come from a long line of subsistence poachers and have no problems with the practice. Killing for profit/thrill? Leave the carcasses out in the open to feed scavengers.

Green Energy

Lifted from a Facebook Posting. So far, the false checkers haven’t jumped the shark. Is it true? You decide.

From a STEPHENVILLE resident, George Franklin:

I should start by telling you what bonafides I have for writing this. I am a retired aerospace engineer. A literal rocket scientist if you will. I worked on MX (Peacekeeper) Space Shuttle, Hubble, Brilliant Pebbles, PACOSS, Space Station, MMU, B2, the Sultan of Brunei's half billion dollar private 747 with crystal showers, gold sinks and 100 dollar a yard coiffed silk carpets. I designed a satphone installation on prince Jeffry's 757. I did all of the design work for the structure of Mark 1V propulsion module currently flying on at least 3 spacecraft that I know of. Some of the more exciting projects I have worked on are not shareable. My personal projects include a spin fishing reel with a 4.5 inch spool which is entirely my own designed, machined and assembled. It has 2 features that are patentable. A unique true flat level wind and a unique line pickup mechanism. I am also am FAA certified glider pilot and FAI certified gold glider pilot. I fly both full scale and model sailplanes. I am Microsoft certified and ComTIA A+ certified.

Solar panels are at best about 20% efficient. They convert almost 0% of the UV light that hits them. None of the visible spectrum and only some of the IR spectrum. At the same time as they are absorbing light they are absorbing heat from the sun. This absorbed heat is radiated into the adjacent atmosphere. It should be obvious what happens next. When air is warmed it rises. Even small differences in ordinary land surfaces are capable of creating powerful forces of weather like thunderstorms and tornadoes. These weather phenomena are initiated and reinforced by land features as they are blown downwind. It is all too obvious to me what will happen with the heat generated by an entire solar farm. Solar farms will become thunderstorm and tornado incubators and magnets.

Solar panels are dark and and they emit energy to the space above them when they are not being radiated. This is known as black-body radiation. Satellites flying in space use this phenomenon to cool internal components. If they didn't do this they would fry themselves.

So solar farms not only produce more heat in summer than the original land that they were installed on, but they also produce more cooling in winter, thus exacerbating weather extremes.

So I conclude with this. There is nothing green about green energy except the dirty money flowing into corrupt pockets.

There is no such thing as green energy. The science doesn't exist. The technology doesn't exist. The engineering doesn't exist. We are being pushed to save the planet with solutions that are worse than the problems.

Animal Cruelty?

Each Christmas my neighbor puts out cookies. The location is too high for Banner plus he isn’t allowed to take anything off a table (unless my back is turned). He nearly wears out his nose as he stares at the unreachable morsels. Sorry Banner, those cookies are not good for you and fuels your fart factory.

Cell Phone Preparations

Being prone to dropping things, my cell phone is in a protective case (red in color so I can find it). Inside the case are two $20 bills and a sim card key. Removing the card and re-inserting it resets the phone. Cash, if needed to make a gasoline or other needed purchases if a credit card won’t work. Old dogs can learn new tricks.

Banner and I stepped out of the elevator in time to see two Coroner employees wheeling a neighbor in a body bag to the elevator. I didn’t know the lady well and don’t know the circumstances of her passing.

Seasonal Employment?

Wyoming is woefully short of snow plow operators. Part of the reason is pay starting around $20 per hour. Overtime out the wazoo. You need a Class A CDL (and a strong constitution).

WYDOT crews have more than 400 conventional snow plows across the state and 18 snow-blowing rotary plows they can throw into the battle. At that point, the department's statewide snow-re- moval plan goes into effect.

Sisty, due to her work as an insurance adjuster, learned from a source only four drivers are available for I-80 over Elk Mountain. If this coming winter is like last year, that section will be closed for days on end.

Cancer and Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide

This is something I’ve posted several times before and will continue to write. I’ve been putting a few drops of H2O2 in my morning coffee and evening adult beverage since reading the One Minute Cure for All Diseases by Madison Cavanaugh. I changed my diet to keep my body in an alkaline state instead of acidic state. This is now going on 12 years.

His position is cancer doesn’t thrive in an oxygenated and alkaline state body. Is he right? I don’t know. What I do know is around 60% of my extended family, paternal and maternal, have fought cancer and many have lost the fight. At age 79 I remain cancer free.

I sunburn easily and have occasional basil cell spots. The usual treatment is drops of liquid nitrogen. I get the same results with drops of H2O2. Hurts like hell for twenty minutes.

Food grade (20-30%) is getting harder to find. Seems you can make explosives using it. Amazon is your friend.

My annual cost for using H2O2 is about $50.

Israel

I’ve refrained from commenting on the current events mainly because I don’t know what I don’t know. There are plenty of pundits to fill the gaps. What I do know is animals that bind children then burn them alive need to be eradicated. No mercy, no compassion.

“Innocent” Palestine civilians? Enablers and supporters of the evilest among them. Fuck’em. Find idle cruise ships, load the Gaza civilians aboard, then run the ships aground in, say, Turkey.

Green Power Bullshit

Our electricity provider, Xcel, has a nifty little scheme. They will let you pay “just a little more” to provide wind energy to your home.

Guess many people are too dumb to realize all power generated, regardless of source, goes into one power grid. All users draw from the same grid.

Wind generated energy costs more to produce and enter the grid. Xcel wants us to help pay for this more expensive energy.

I have no problem with Xcel asking their customers to  subsidize more expensive sources. What I do object to is their bullshit public relation stunt to suck in gullible customers. It is a “feel good” way to raise energy costs without the pesky legal way which involves a regulatory agency, hearings and the such. Bah!
