A horrid weekend for Colorado football fans. Other than the Air Force Academy (who beat CU) all the major college teams lost; CU, CSU, and UNC. Then, tonight, the Broncos lost to Seattle.

I’m a tepid, at best, football fan. Between the woke bullshit and the tons of commercials, I pass it by.

As always, YMMV.

Caught a bit of the games on Sunday, not impressed, and WAY too many commercials!!! I'll stick with watching college stuff.

Living the the Seattle area, I had Seahawk season tickets for several years from the inaugural season. Watching them in the old Kingdome was special. I won't endure the commercials and the game has changed into something far away from what I think of as football. Going back even more, I worked security for the Bronco games when they still played in the AAA baseball stadium and the South stands were wood planks on scaffolding. $2 open admission; bring your own refreshments if you wanted. Wild times - we earned out $12 for the day's work.

It is a form of manipulation that I reject. Does th mean I miss things I might enjoy? Of course, but it is my way of making a stand.
