How Many Postmasters?

How many Postmasters does it take to fill a pothole?

Two $4.00 sacks of Quickcrete from Home Depot, fifteen minutes with a shovel, and done. Been this way for weeks.

Things I don't understand.

Is there some advantage to these big tires?

The tires are for off trail riding and mountain riding. I guess there are some steep hills around there. The street looks like someone was walking some small mortar rounds for zeroing in
.

That lane is to drop off boxes. They wheel a cart out to gather mail from the boxes.

Steep hills? Only 53 mountains over 14,000 feet. There are 900+ points and/or passes over 12,000 feet. There are 4 towns over 10,000 feet (Alma, Leadville, Montezuma, pop 29, and Blue River).

Paperwork and bureaucracy aside, I would hope the Postal Employees would reach into their own pockets for the paltry $10 it would take to fix the problem, if only as a matter of pride.
