Canada visits the Front Range
1°F this morning so
Banner needed his heavy cost.
I have him drag his leash because the building rules call
for all dogs to be on a leash.

Eyes seem OK. Yesterday driving to Burns WY took my glasses off and went with my geezer goggles aka slip over sun glasses. Probably will get a new prescription. If memory serves this one is ten years old.
WWW My leash joke gets a few snickers and several eye rolls around the complex. The dog is a great favorite among my neighbors. Me, not so much.
My principal motivation for the eye procedure was losing my night vision. I'm pleased with the results so far. A pleasant surprise is being able to drive without my current glasses. 2/3 I have another appointment. If I still need glasses it will be with a new prescription.
I've been notified I have the beginnings of cataracts forming. I had hoped we could take care of both the cataracts and my need for prescription glasses simultaneously. Apparently, the only way that can be done is to make one eye "distant vision" and the other a reading glass. Told I will adjust to this situation, I'm considering it.
Ah yes, leashes and the leash nazis... I had a dog that I could give the leash to and he'd carry it in his mouth. Got it trouble for that... sigh Glad the vision is coming along!
GB I selected distant for my left eye as I have Macular degeneration in my right eye. I'm not sure what they put in the right eye. At the moment I'm still using my "computer glasses" but find C+ useful.
Old NFO Our management doesn't care until they get a complaint. We have a new resident who isn't lacking in self esteem. She has informed we residents she spent years in Ohio doing social work and knows all the rules and regulations (guess she did read our twenty page lease agreement). The two big dogs in the building are Banner and an Irish Setter. Both are "certified" emotional support dogs and I had to explain to her the ADA laws trump whatever is in the lease. So long as management has the piece of paper that covers their ass they don't get involved.

One degree here this morning. Pebbles is not happy going out, so we have to give her a nudge, or two.
Both eyes doing OK?

On a leash. Ha. The leash Nazi's surely didn't see you coming, did they?
Glad to hear the surgery went well. For me, it was quite literally a gift from God!

Looks like your new resident was a former HOA nazi....

She shows all the signs.
