Welcome Sight - UPDATED

Waking up to falling snow. The weather guessers got it right. Should help put down our wildfires.

I have a lab who hates snow, rain, and water. What, anyone expect WSF's world to be normal?

UPDATE

Still snowing and expected to snow through the night. Light snow, not heavy or wet. News reports are of the wildfires being slowed down but a lot more snow will be need to extinguish them for the winter.

That AND collecting money.

Banner seems to be having a fine run in the snow, or is he trying to escape it?

Not so much anymore, more like a blocker for a running back nowdays.

Banner hates snow, rain, and standing water.

We got over 10" here overnight and through the day. It stopped for a while, but now it's lightly snowing again.

The fire areas got about double what we did.

As of 0820 no snow falling, 90% light overcast, with enough sunshine to cast shadows. 26°
The fires won't be out but maybe the crews can keep them contained.

Cheap, meaningless shot: Imagine if all the money spent fighting these fires was spent on good forest and range land management, what the landscape would look like. The Troublesome fire went to 60,000 acres in hours with all the dead beetle kill pine still standing.

That's good news, more snow the better!

Next seven days look to be dry so the fires will continue but at a slower spread.
