One Tough SOB

If nothing else, he taught me a man gets up every morning and starts putting one foot in front of the other no matter what. Best lesson a Dad can teach a son.

RIP

Father/Son relationships are strange. We surpass our fathers in many ways (jobs, money, living conditions), yet we are not worthy to tie their shoes in ways that are important. They teach us, somethings harshly, the ways of life and how to handle ourselves. Happy Pappy Day, WSF.

No question... Sadly I lost my dad when I was young. I still wish I'd had more years to get to know him.

Better to have a father who was there for you even if the time was too short. I see people who grew up with absent fathers. They always seem to have an underlying anger and hurt.

To you also. (Sorry, just catching up)
