Check out dell.com. They're having a pretty good holiday sale on 'standard' PCs and laptops. If you're not a power user you should be able to find something you like for a few hundred bucks.
Nah, it'd still happen, just would take longer... sigh
Thanks for the tip. Got my desktop back. Costs $300+ but seems to be working well and they upgraded the hard drive to 2 terabytes.
