Sorry to say he is fading fast. I'm just pleased I got to know him. I'm down to two uncles by marriage who are WWII vets.

We lost a WWII/Korea/Vietnam vet a little over a year ago. He was a regular at our yearly vet's reunion.
What a loss it was for all of us! He was sharp as a tack until the very end......
Al's mind is still good but his hearing is about gone.
No thinks needed, but appreciated. The engineer company Al was in later became the engineer company I was in early 60's in Germany.
