Ed Perlmutter Dem CO has a "Government at the Grocery" one to two times a month. I admire him for making himself available. Today wasn't his day. Seems a lot of folks aren't happy about Obamacare. Peaceful crowd. Our local police were there in force to keep it that way. One plainclothes was hustling shopping carts for those who were there to buy groceries. Both sides were present with their signs. Some were even talking to each other.

You have to watch those right wing exstremist, they will tip their hats to the ladies. Open the door for them and give them a shopping cart.
NFO We'll see what happens next time. I agree with about 65% of his votes. He is strong on constituent service. An American Legion friend active at the national level tells me he is there for the vets. His last GOP opponent was all hat.
TGR Don't know the detective's politics. This area still has a large number of folks with manners, even the young.
What about the poor people that just want to buy food?
The store was open. Parking was a problem. People were still buying their food.
