Tyranny by What Definition

Tyranny

Amazing, how the intellectual left can demonize President Trump for doing his job.

MORE

Nearly every point this smug intellectual makes applies to the Democrats, to Biden, and to the Lightbringer.

The Founders recognized the large population areas will dominate any democratic process to the detriment of rural populations. We are not a “Democratic Constitutional Republic”. We are a Constitutional Republic designed to protect minorities from the tyranny of majorities.

Do you need a current example of why this is necessary? Look no further than Alberta.

IMO, we have been increasingly under tyranny from the woke left and their fellow travelers. Now, thankfully, they are losing all the ground they illicitly gained, and they are having a hissy fit.

My sympathy is for those people, many I know, that are collateral damage. People who were simply finding work where they could. Now their jobs are being flushed.

Eggs

Six weeks ago the egg section at Safeway was nearly empty. Now, some are reaching their pull date and are ½ price. Trump effect?

He is bragging gas is under $2.00 a gallon in some places. Not here. Perhaps we are saddled by the (P)regressive’s requirement for “summer formula”. Maybe not, Wyoming prices are about the same as ours.

Stupid Is as Stupid Does

Tourist Tossing Season

Will we ever run out of damn fools bothering wild animals (yes, a rhetorical question).

Yellowstone

I subscribe to the mountain man wisdom, “Don’t go bothering something that ain’t bothering you.

Coal

An article about coal mining in Colorado. The source, The Colorado Sun, leans left, way left, IMO. In the middle of the article the environazis take victory  laps. Wyoming coal is easier to mine. There are proven coal deposits in Colorado 5,000’ deep. I grew up in coal country, knew many coal miners, and my Dad was a control room operator at the Hayden plant in his later years.

Coal

Puking (P)regressives

Is there any low, sleazy tactic they won’t use? Is there any Democrat running for office that won’t accept their tainted contributions?

SCUM

 Elk

The hills around Steamboat Springs, CO are covered with scrub oak. From spring into summer cow elk congregate there to raise their young. Good forage for them and good protection for their newborn.

Recreational mountain bikers disturb them. There are existing trails but, as usual, the riders want more areas.

More

My interest? I attended high school in that town. Then it had a population of around 2,000. Now, 8,000+ transplants and trust fund snots.

Promising Technology – Iron Smelting

This can be good news.

More

The problem, as I see it, is environazis and the NIMBY crowd. Where will the raw ore come from? Colorado has iron ore. From the internet:

Colorado has historically had various iron ore deposits, particularly hematite, limonite, and magnetite, found in locations like the Calumet Mine, the Orient Mine, and the Iron Mountain/Grape Creek deposit. Additionally, deposits are associated with precious metal mining in areas like Leadville. The Iron Hill carbonatite complex near Powderhorn is also notable for its iron ore potential.

The howls from the residents around these areas will be monumental, IMO.

My past caught up with me again. While having my tires rotated, another customer starting petting Banner, then said he recognized me! A legal immigrant from Kenya, we sold him a Kia in 2002.  That is the way events should unfold.

Telling it like it is – Crime and (P)regressives

Trucking News – English Proficiency

A long article detailing the current state, and prior history, of the requirement commercial drivers are proficient in English.

Trucking

As has been forever, who decides what is “proficient”?

The cost of illegal aliens – personal

Sometimes there will be six levels of separation, but always there is a connection. This is a very personal account of that connection. Long, I’m putting it here for people associated with me to read who might otherwise not want to hear it from me. If others find it of interest, so much the better.

Illegal aliens indirectly led to my youngest son’s death.

A high school forced (1) dropout, he worked his way to being a master plumber by the time he was twenty.

With two children, he married a woman with two children and they lived in the Albuquerque, NM area where he was gainfully employed. A change in building codes allowed anyone to work as a plumber, and lack of enforcement allowed builders to hire illegal’s, pay them cash, and quickly force legitimate contractors out of business. My son, seeing the writing on the wall, joined the Army and became a Medic.

In Basic, he slipped on an obstacle course and badly sprained his left ankle. No quitter, he sucked it up and kept on. By the end of his tour in Kandahar, he was wearing a support boot. Eventually the Army gave him an 80% disability, later increased to 100%, discharge. As a civilian he worked as an EMT until he was physically unable to continue.

The ankle developed sepsis and he knew the answer was amputation. The Charleston, SC Veterans Administration doctors kept stalling. He was managing the pain with morphine. With a wife and now five children, he needed to continue working. One St Patrick’s Day, he and his wife were out with friends and he had a few alcohol beverages. Once home, he passed away during the early morning hours. Likely cause?  The combination of morphine and alcohol.

Let me be clear. He used morphine to maintain, not to get high. He did enjoy adult beverages.

Back to the top, he likely would never have joined the military had his plumbing career not been destroyed by the economics of illegal aliens.

Let us address compassion. Aliens are people, yes. Why are they coming here? To make a better life, for them, is their motivation. Do they care about the country they are coming to? I doubt it. They don’t assimilate, they keep their national identity, and they have contempt for our laws and values. Driver license, car insurance? Why?

Are they escaping a bad place? Probably. Sucks to be them. Why don’t they pay the cost to fix their home countries?

We can’t fix the world.

(1)He got crosswise with the black student packs infesting his high school. The administration failed to address the problem. Travis, not a racists, by the by, feared for his life. As a 16 year old Freshman, he took his GEDs. His lowest score was 82%.

Mineral Wars

Tungsten

At the moment there are zero active tungsten mines in the United States. Sweet irony, there are several closed tungsten mines in Boulder County, Colorado. A coming conflict?

Colofornia has many mineral in economically feasible quantities. Our imported trust fund snots and associated econazis say, NIMBY. Hopefully, PDJT will swat them like mosquitoes. China cut us off from minerals? We have our own, we know where those minerals are located, and the primary obstacle to extract them is political.

The influx of trust fund snots over the years has taken over many of the ‘quaint’ mountain towns. A lot of money is needed to live in, say, Telluride. How many know what telluride is, and its value? All that valuable ore is still there and starting new mining is feasible, if the political will is in force.

“Telluride has various uses, primarily as a material in solar cells and thermoelectric devices, as well as in rubber vulcanization and semiconductor applications. It's also used to tint glass and ceramics, in rewritable CDs and DVDs, and as a catalyst in oil refining. The Kia Telluride is a popular mid-size SUV.

Here's a more detailed look at the uses of telluride:

·        Solar Cells and Thermoelectric Devices:

Cadmium telluride (CdTe) is a key material in the production of solar panels, according to Wikipedia. Tellurium is also used in thermoelectric devices, which convert temperature differences into electrical energy.

·        Rubber Vulcanization:

Tellurium has been used to vulcanize rubber, a process that improves its elasticity and durability, notes The Royal Society of Chemistry.

·        Semiconductor Applications:

Tellurium can be doped with other elements like silver, gold, copper, or tin to create semiconductors, which are essential components in electronic devices.

·        Other Uses:

Tellurium is also used to tint glass and ceramics, in rewritable CDs and DVDs, and as a catalyst in oil refining

All that valuable ore is still there and starting new mining is feasible, if the political will is in force.

Will mining return to Colorado? It will be a huge political fight.

Yes, WSF is still interested in the wolf issues.

Canadian wolves were not native to Colorado. What was native was Mexican gray wolves.

At only 25–32 inches tall, the Mexican gray wolf is smaller than its cousin, the gray wolf (Canis lupus) of the northern Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Northwest. Mexican gray wolves have historically lived across the southwest of the U.S. and Mexico.

Is it reactionary on my part to suggest this is what we should be re-introducing, if we must reintroduce wolves?

Cancer Cure?

Just last night I heard the opinion,

Common sentiment.

I’m not sure. A cousin, brilliant mind, has spent most of his life researching cancer in labs. He recently lost his wife to cancer; a not uncommon event for those in the medical field. I’m sure he looked into everything that would save her life.

That said, potential treatments that don’t meet orthodox entrenched thinking get ignored or quashed.

Colorado Politics, Wyoming Trucking

Vomit Inducing

The least effective, least relevant United States Senator now wants to be our Governor. He is an entrenched East Coast Liberal transplanted to Colorado.

Take for example his younger brother.

He was editor-in-chief of The Atlantic from 2006–2016 and was the editorial page editor at The New York Times from May 2016 until his forced resignation in June 2020. He is the younger brother of U.S. Senator Michael Bennet.

MORE

In the grand tradition of Colorado Democrats, he will name his replacement rather than having voters make that decision.

Some of us residents remember when he was running in the last election, he bought a three day fishing license then had his picture taken “fishing”.

Along with that reasoning, he could name Emperor Polis his replacement. That is the way the bastards work in Colofornia.

Getting High in Colofornia

Pity

Another (P)regressive victory  that isn’t.

MORE

Are the dopers now allocating their money towards feeding their children and paying their bills? Is the street price way lower than the ‘dispensary’? Do the socialists legislators have a clue as they continue to Californicate Colorado?

Angers Me Every Time

Almost every day you read an article like this one claiming cancer cures or treatments. When will these ever be implemented? Decades of research, billions spent word wide, and still no cures?

MORE

Worse, anything outside “orthodox medicine” is ridiculed and proponents attacked. Why? Why isn’t every possible cure/treatment studied?

Years ago Madison Cavanaugh published, “One Minute Cure for All Diseases”.  Regarding cancer, he talked about keeping the body in an oxygenated state. He advocated avoiding an acidic state by keeping a negative PH balance. For the past twenty years I’ve taken several drops of food grade H2O2 in a beverage daily and am careful about what I eat. I have remained cancer free.

So what, WSF? Over 60% of my extended family, both paternal and maternal, have died from or are fighting, cancer.

I easily sunburn and have constant small outbreaks on my face. These have been diagnosed as benign but can develop into cancer. The treatment is liquid nitrogen. Expensive, and not always available. Instead, I treat them with food grade H2O2. Works! It also hurts like hell for thirty minutes or so.

Past Useful Service Life

A tendon in my left shoulder recently detached. X-rays reveal the tendon has become too small, because of age, to be reattached. The alternative is a ‘reverse shoulder replacement’. Hell no!

Perhaps doing dumb stuff most of my life is to blame.

Example: Bored car salesmen are dangerous. Years ago the dealership employing me had a spot at the Western Washington Fair. I loathed these goat ropes. The best you could hope for were some leads. Never did I, or anyone I knew, sell are car there.

Nearby, the carnival had a bungee jump that was maybe 100’ high. One salesman, who hated my guts, said I was too afraid to do the bungee jump. After informing him if he would pay for it, I would do it. He rounded up the cash, and I made the jump. I was sore for a few days. That was dumb.

Oh well, don’t mean shit, 2-3 acetaminophen and drive on.

Overkill?

Doing a spring inventory of the car (jumper cables, fluids, survival clothing, etc.) I found six flashlights and two unopened bulk packs of batteries.

Is that too much?
