Something for LL and other Amour fans. Picture quality is shitty. At 0700 with a wind chill of -14° that is the best I can do.
Worth your while to stop and look. I was in Lexington for work and needed to get up the highway. In better and warmer times I spent a couple of hours there.

I'll put that on the list of "maybe" for this Summer...
Stopped by there a few years back with the family and it was a fun time. Inside is a lot neat stuff like a Bradley fighting vehicle that you can go in, a UH-60 you can go in, tanks, and other interesting military vehicles. One really odd one which was an M113 with a TOW missile launcher battery on top.
What's nice about is that you can get up close and touch them, sit in some and actually interact a bit with the vehicles. If your in the area it's worth a stop.

A lot of history along I-80 in Nebraska. Many of the pioneer trails followed the Platte River.

Stoppped there with a young man in training. He was scheduled to join the Army when he was injured as a passenger in a bad truck wreck. I could tell him about some of the equipment and the staff there were knowledgeable and enjoyed showing us around.
Is tanks. I went aviation for a reason...LOL
Dr Jim, if your in the area I suggest Harold Warp's Pioneer Village. It's has an amazing collection of "stuff". - https://pioneervillage.com/
One correction, they were Hellfire missiles, not TOW missiles.
Well Seasoned Fool - It was a great visit with my family and the staff was friendly when we were there is in 2021. Too bad covid was still affecting how things were done.
I've heard of the Pioneer Village. I'm in Well Seasoned Fool's neck of the woods, so it's a day trip kind of thing. My wife would probably enjoy the Pioneer Village, but not so much the Armor Museum.

That is more like an overnight trip. There is an outstanding Museum in Sterling, especially the wing devoted to rural electrification, and the huge impact that had on people's lives.

Tanks are not a favorite. They are hard on bridges. Same thing with tracked artillery.
