Low Humor

An unneeded post on an insignificant subject. However, it may be worth a chuckle.

I spend too much time on the computer and Banner will come over and stick his head in the knee well. After three years I should have figured out what he wants. He just wants to be close to me.

Bought a $3 throw rug at a thrift store and put it by my work station. He immediately claimed it as his own. Now, other than the two hours the sun shines on my bed that is where he stays.

Next step will be some kind of pet bed now I understand what he needs.

A side benefit is more exercise as I step over him to get to the coffee.

Most likely, he will master Windows 11 before I do.

He is trying to be your timer so that you have to get up and move and not spend so much time on the 'puter.

And he does a good job, some of the time.

WSF, you know that when you get the pet bed that Banner will claim that and still want to keep the rug right? It is good to keep the true master of your home happy.

I retrieved a bed from the truck and he now is using it. The rug will go in front of the couch so he has something to step down on. He is getting me trained.

LOL, next thing he will be 'timing' you to make sure you get up and move around once an hour! :-)

I've been considering trying to write a blog post about our "best friends" and why God made them as he/xe did.
Much of the world mistreats them. Yet they feel more secure when they are actually touching us so they know exactly where we are at all times.
We adopted the neighbor's Chihuahua because they were kinda neglecting him. He is at my side (in touch) as I write this. He'll go out to take care of his business when I ask him to, and be back touching me when he returns. He sleeps with us... back against mine ALL NIGHT.
How in the world do we deserve this kind of loyalty?

I had to do the same for Pebbles. She now has a garage rug, a sunroom/radio room rug, and a basement workshop rug. She really enjoys going down to the basement with me, as it's always 73*, +/- two degrees.

Her nighttime bed is up in our bedroom. That is, when she's not on our bed!

As lazy as he can be I need to make sure he moves more than me.

I loath someone who abuses or neglects animals. Only child and spouse abuse ranks higher on my "kick your teeth in" scale.

Pebbles is wal cared for. The only time he sleeps on my bed is in a motel.

Windows 11? Annoying rubbish. Dogs at our feet? True value.

Blue does a similar thing and I like it, comfy.

As LL points out, two is one and one is none. My second hand computer running Windows7 won't last forever and the time for a backup is before it is needed. It came with Windows11.
