OLD AGE AND TREACHERY WILL OVERCOME YOUTH AND SKILL.
And on the eighth day God said, "Okay, Murphy, you're in charge!"

It it was just A & B, where A is charging $200 an hour and paying B $25, he would have a case of greed. But A is paying out of his $200, wages, rent/Morgage on his building, expenses, supplies, insurance, etc. Just how much of the $200 does the boss keep for himself? I'm sure the boss makes a comfortable living, more so than the welder, but he has a lot more responsibility and worry, too. The welder, if he is smart, is able to feed and clothe his family as well as enjoy the amenities of life. Jealously will ruin your day.
I will start with saying I didn't watch the whole video. I got the gist about 4 minutes in. And his points aren't new. Nope. I never felt I was paid what I was worth. There's a loooong story on why I didn't quit, and it's irrelevant anyway. So, I get it. Life is short. Why kill yourself for a job that can replace you in a heartbeat? But I don't want to pay those that refuse to work, so that they can take it easy. Hard truths are tough. The money has to come from somewhere.
It's a crazy world The last two minutes has some hard hitting advice to younger people. I sent it to a grandson. In short, have a skill that people can't do without and make the elites pay.

"If you don't want the job I have a list a mile long of people who do."
And it's true.
We're self destructive.
And fixed wing. Problem is finding gifted and qualified.

It is, as usual, about having a marketable skill set, and knowing the value of that skillset.

A point I wished to share with my Grandson.
