Air Force Budget Woes

We know the Air Force is squeezing budgets to pay for the F-35. Relying on these for security guards at missile silos is, IMO, going too far.

YMMV

About eighteen miles North by another silo.

Lawn Maintenance Old West Style. This way, the AF only needs one Airman with a shovel, a broom, and a big bucket. If, however, they want shorter maintenance, they will bring in sheep and dismiss the Airman.

How do you know they're not effective as security? Did you make an attempt to approach?

No lawns in that part of the prairie. They do keep the weeds knocked down to protect the installations from wildfire. The only airmen I see are surly APs driving their HMMV slowly on public highways.

No approach, and not because of horses. Don't feel like being strafed by a Blackhawk.
