Western Nebraska at Daybreak

Back safe from the trip. The one time of day I enjoy Nebraska is just after daybreak. The colors seem more intense. Not my greatest snap but, one handed, 75 mph, with the windshield fooling the auto focus, I'll take it.

Good chance will make the same trip next week.

Some folks think it's too bleak, but I LOVE the wide open spaces; it's almost scary.

Obviously you were driving while typing judging by the typo. That is the best time to see Nebraska other than in your rear view mirror.

So nice to have an editor.

Lots of wide open spaces in the West and I've been fortunate to see more than most folks. Never feel at ease until the 14,000' mountains are filling the windshiEld. Tis a privilege to live in Colorado.

Early mornings are NICE on the road, mostly pros out there, and as long as you've got the sun at your back, a beautiful drive!

You know they advise against texting and driving. I would think taking pictures would be advised against too!! In spite of the incessant teasing, we really do want you around for a while longer yet! So keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road mister!!! LOVE YA!!!!
