Beyond Pissed Off

This is a personal rant that has nothing to do with current events.

Xfinity, my cell phone provider for many years will lose me as a customer next month.

My 51 year old autistic son lives in the Seattle area. He has a phone I pay for. When he has had a problem, lost a phone, etc. he would go to an Xfinity store and the problem would be promptly solved.

He needs a new phone. Off to the Tukwila store where he is turned away. He was told, since it is my account, I need to physically be there so they can scan my i.d. WTF, over.

OK, I go to the Longmont Xfinity store and am told I need to buy the phone and send it to him. WTF, again. They order a phone. Can’t do right there because my Colorado Driver License expired. OK, have a new phone shipped to me. I then ship the phone to him. He goes into the Tukwila store and is again turned away.

Now, I’m not flying to Seattle just to get a phone activated.

\Next week his aide will take him to another company, likely Cricket, and we will try to get his phone up and working.

Next month (this month is paid for) I will have a new phone company.

Here is my take, based on a lifetime of working on commission. For whoever waits on him, it is floor time lost (they think). I see a pattern, both in that store, and my local store. Add, no local phone number at any store so they don’t waste time with callers. Stupid, IMO.

1988, Sound Ford, Renton, WA closed at 10:00 p.m. At 8:45 or so a man got out of an older pickup and I greeted him at the door. He stunk, really, really bad. Turned out he did sewer work. He drove away in a new truck around 11:30. After thanking me, he said, words as I recall, “I really appreciate you waiting on me. I know I stink but by the time I get home and shower, you are closed”.  In the coming months that man bought four vehicles from me himself and sent two other buyers my way.

Winner do what losers won’t.

As always, YMMV

Yes, letting my driver license expire was dumb; beat me! At my age a new eye exam is needed. That is scheduled next week. Our socialist run state government requires a DMV appointment; no walk ins. An appointment is scheduled later in the month.

In the mean time I am stopping at stop signs, using my turn signal and diligently observing speed limits.

The 'service' industry is no longer about 'service'... sigh

Service is a concept that is difficult to quantify. People in sales understand it; bean counters don't.

Feature, not a defect. Some companies have gotten so large they've self-alienated themselves from their customer base. Their bean-counting upper management think there are so many customers now who will just walk in the door and give them money that they don't need sales staff that is motivated by commission to know the product and provide service. Instead, they can just pay lower wages to order takers who, in the case of cellular providers, are only trained just good enough to enter a credit card payment and shove a box across the counter. Customers who don't fit that pattern aren't who the sales plan is set up for. Don't like it, go across the street to Bla-Bla Cellular where they're just the same. And Stockholm Syndrome conditioned customers are beginning to accept it because where else are they gonna go. I've seen this myself from the inside, good and hard, in a somewhat different industry. Former customers are calling me and asking who they're supposed to call for help now, because no one is calling on them anymore and the kid on the phone at headquarters doesn't know the product. The kid can sell you something, but only if you know what it is because he sure doesn't.

This outfit's 3rd generation owners went to skool to become bean counters, never worked the customer side of the business, couldn't identify a customer's needs if their lives depended upon it, and worse, don't think they need to. It's sad but kinda comical in a way, kinda like watching the coyote in the old Warner Brothers roadrunner cartoons.

The Dimocrap Scum can't stand it that a Good and Decent Man was changing and helping people that were in the depths of despair due to being caught up in the disease I call dimocrapism. Charlie lifted thousands out of a living Hell and what's his reward? Death. It's all Dimocrap scum know. Death and Destruction.
Go ahead, Dimocrap scum, you Leftist Morons. Give us an excuse. Do it.

You won't. Because You are all just “Name Calling” cowards, each and every one of you. And you will live your lives as cowards and die as cowards.... pathetically. And deservedly. Go on call us Hitler’s, and the other Disgusting things that you do.
It’s you that are the fascists... it’s you who are the pack of violent Street Scum.... they are disgusting animals who can't get over the fact that Trump the BETTER MAN won... well get use to losing you bastards because the midterms will be a landslide win for us republicans and after you witness that don't relax because JD Vance will be the next president and he will continue Trump's, and Charlie’s agenda.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination is the kind of tragedy that shakes a movement to its core. But in the days since his murder, it’s become crystal clear that the legacy of the Turning Point USA founder is not going anywhere. In fact, it’s exploding. What we’re witnessing is a classic case of the Left trying to silence a voice they couldn’t debate, only to end up fueling the very fire they wanted to extinguish.

Turning Point USA, the organization Kirk built from the ground up to challenge liberal indoctrination in America’s schools, has seen a record-breaking surge in chapter requests. Eighteen thousand new requests poured in within 24 hours after Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, delivered a deeply emotional and defiant nationwide address. Her message wasn’t just a tribute to her husband; it was a declaration of war against the forces that want conservative youth silenced. “The movement my husband built will not die,” Erika said, broadcasting from his own studio. And Americans responded in kind, proving that her words weren’t just rhetoric, they were a rallying cry
Charlie gained the following at the very least. This marks his greatness and importance to the USA.
Yes, Charlie Kirk died yet Turning Point USA has gained strength.
1. Supported by his friend our President announced he will soon award Charlie Kirk with the medal of freedom.
2. Turning Point USA gained international strength. I watched TV today proving Turning Point USA is stronger.
3. Charlie Kirks wife promised the nation she will keep his organization going.
4. Voters all over have rallied to his, no.... our cause. FREEDOM Based on the super low poll ratings for the Democrats, Freedom has arrived for all of us. Will you work to keep his movement alive

Charlie Kirk’s death is a stark reminder that defending free speech goes hand in hand with defending life. The appropriate response to disagreement is debate, persuasion, and democratic engagement—not guns, knives, or bombs.
Society must hold leaders accountable, demand honesty in media reporting, and courageously defend life over ideology. The tragedy of Charlie Kirk is a call to all who value liberty: protecting speech and defending human life are inseparable responsibilities.

We must protect speech. We must protect life. Anything less is a betrayal of the very freedoms that make this country strong

Stockholm Syndrome! Great observation. Add all the AI phone trees - loath them. How about fast food places? I happen to like Wendy's but no longer. I'm not standing in front of several screens trying to figure out how to order then pay with a card. I want to speak to a person, and I want to pay with cash.

Speaking of AI, my blog seems to captured. Up to 2,000 views and many off topic comments. For the moment I'm letting it ride. Am I now an "influencer"?
Will my Xfinity rant go viral? The idea warms my cold heart.

Jimmy Kimble is a fruitcake, Jimmy Kimmel says “repulsive” liberal voices drive people away from Democrat Party but somehow fails to admit he's one of them. Jimmy Kimmel lied. He lied and said he was only joking! No. He lied for the sole purpose of agitating for an attack to kill more people. This is what these Fruitcake Democrats do. So, Adios Jimmy.

If you knew Charlie, you know that Charlie was about speaking only truth, family and his faith.
Ignore the nay sayers, they could not debate him they have very small grain size brains, while Charlie on a grain of muster seed multiplied a generation on nations to God and that is who & what we remember him for. His courage for his faith. Now he has the greatest reward ever above all else sitting with his savior right where he wanted to be. Charlie lives.
Charlie may be gone, but his spirit and love will live on through thousands, or Millions, or Ten’s of Millions of his followers, and believers.

There unhinged are people who are "Celebrating" are all with COCKEYED liberal views who have platforms that reach many people, Bill Maher for example, and God Bless them, these are people I disagree with more times than not, but hey, just remember, Maher said he liked Charlie Kirk, which is proof that true liberal and conservatives can be united, have civil conversations and be friends. I can go on with many more examples, but you get the point.

Am I thrilled that Jimmy Kimmel get canceled? Absolutely!!! I am so glad he is gone. Remember when Kimmel celebrated Tucker Carlson being fired? Well, good old karma came back to haunt him and it is a "delightful shock" that Kimmel got canceled. For a long time, the radical left has been trying to get the conservative broadcasters fired and they have tried to silence all opposing views with cancel culture as well, yet these are the same scumbags who label the right fascist??? Well, there is a good example of an oxymoron if you are looking for one. Normally I would not celebrate something like this, but Kimmel and Colbert, both completely untalented one-trick ponies getting canceled is just great. Neither of them has ever stood up for free speech for their opposition like Bill Maher did for Rush Limbaugh, AH Yes yes “Rush Limbaugh’ THAT WAS A GUY WITH PRINCIPLES! Principles that Kimmel will never have! . Bad riddance to both Kimmel and Colbert, now the far-left is getting a shovel full of what they have been slinging to the right, now they know what it is like, and this is a good thing. As for us, we will be celebrating Kimmel being canceled with a nice dinner in a rare day off for me. We will also be opening a bottle of Cremant (a great sparkling white wine from France that is an outstanding value).
As for his Two-Faced Idiotic Audience thay has shrunk to less than 50 percent in the past year, I think that his is audience are a bunch of disgusting assholes, who only know one side of the story!. So he has to play a disgusting asshole and say things his mom would slap him across the face for saying.
What is even sweeter is how Kimmel is absolutely livid over being canceled, yet this is the same person who was laughing when Tucker Carlson got fired. Gotta love that Karma thing. Look at who was laughing, and now look at who is crying. Ha ha, this is hilarious and absolutely deserved. Jimmy Kimmel called Tucker Carlson’s firing “An Absolutely Delightful Shock”, and yeah! Nobody raised Hell about that! Did They! That was just fine. Bit this time an Innocent Young Man was Murdered!
So Yes, Am I thrilled that Jimmy Kimmel got canceled? Absolutely! And Yes, I am so glad he is gone. So we don't have to listen to that Morons Trash any longer. , I just hope that this firing is Permanent.
