New Places




Missed (thankfully) all the election hoopla by working. Always like seeing new places and finding new routes. Took a few personal minutes to view the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers and to admire the older bridges spanning them.

Nice pics! I'm wondering what kind of shape those old bridges are in though...

Seem to be well maintained with no visible rust. Can't recall seeing weight restrictions. Very narrow and very steep!

That's good WSF- especially if you're driving across them! I STILL remember crossing the Vicksburg MS bridge over the Mississippi and feeling the whole thing sag with I met a semi, much less when a train was crossing at the same time! Both of my daughters hate bridges to this day because of that bridge!
