5th Generation Warfare

WSF attempts to be profound

Disclaimer: I’m a digital Latter Day Luddite and not the one to get into the electronic weeds.

Aaron Cohen’s You Tube posts push my thinking. He talks about 5th Generation warfare being waged constantly using the internet. He explains how it is done and what it accomplishes.

Recently it occurred to me that Saul Alinsky’s 1971, “Rules for Radicals”, has been adapted for the digital age.

The Rules

1.     "Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."

2.     "Never go outside the experience of your people."

3.     "Whenever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy."

4.     "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

5.     "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."

6.     "A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

7.     "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."

8.     "Keep the pressure on."

9.     "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."

10.  "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."

11.  "If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative."

12.  "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."

13.  "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

Does anyone else see what I think I see?

Why do virtue signaling outsiders need to get their noses in a local matter?

PDJT’s Gift to Blue  State Politicans
“Trump’s disastrous tariff taxes continue to wreak havoc on our economy and the erratic trade policy is projected to continue hurting our economy, slowing job growth and increasing chances of a recession. These national circumstances present a difficult economic environment for the state.”

— Gov. Jared Polis

See, it isn’t our feckless spending. No, no, Orange Man Bad. If not for him, we would have a balanced budget.

Colofornia Dreaming

Who benefits from “woke”?

With Colorado ranked #2 as the most dangerous state in the country, some reasons are glaringly obvious.

MORE

The question of who benefits, IMO, are the ultra wealthy like George Soros socialists who want to destroy our culture and freedom coupled with rulers in countries that hate us. They fund the campaigns of the (P)regressives running for office. Not a new or profound observation on my part.

At the moment, six Democrats have announced they will run for the CO 8th Congressional seat. Already I get weekly flyers attacking the Republican incumbent with broad accusations, but no verifiable facts.

Last election public records show over $40,000,000 was spent on this one piss ant seat.

 Colorado’s New Gun Laws

For those who have the stomach, here is an overview of the new Blue Turd restrictions on lawful firearm owners. Should keep lawyers full employment for months to come, while giving sheriffs in deep blue counties draconian control over who can own a firearm.

MORE

Along the lines of the devil is in the details, several of these will be dependent on receiving “grants” to fund them.

Most of these won’t survive the court process but while that is happening we have less freedom.

How do we make these gun grabbers feel some financial hurt? That is one way to stop them.

The Irish, obstinate beyond belief

The news out of Northern Ireland recently has been more ‘Troubles’. This time it is the natives against the state sponsored Muslim immigrants.

 Obstinate: Consider this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25MSWIz6vag

Key lyric, “We’ve fought you for 800 years, and we’ll fight you for 800 more”. More South than North, to be true.

Who knows; perhaps the combination of EU socialism and unrestricted immigration might result in a Unified Ireland where both the North and the South kick out the overbearing tyrants.

Stellentis declares bankruptcy

The first casualty of Trump’s tariffs declare the American Mainstream Maggots (h/t BZ). Tariffs may be part of it but shitty product made it inevitable. How do you ruin brands like Jeep, Dodge, Nissan, Ram, and Chrysler in the USA? Try saving pennies on an HVAC air system actuator, cost around $50, that takes $4,000 in labor charge to replace? The list goes on. Nissan/CVT transmissions. Fiats rebadged as Jeeps and “Trail Rated”.

The total brands they own are:

Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall.

Ancient history now, when Henry II checked out and Donald Petersen became Ford President, he instituted, “Quality is Job One”. He got the UAW on board. The design team that brought the next generation Thunderbird in at 600 lbs overweight got fired. Unprecedented in the car biz, Ford went on to make more money in one quarter than the rest of the USA industry combined.

I was selling Fords at the time. The Escort, Tempo, and Taurus were nearly bullet proof, had decent performance, and the trucks were solid. Happy times to be selling Fords.

Both GM and Ford are not far behind Stellentis. GM has a disaster with their 6.2  truck engines falling apart. Ford has their EcoBoost problems and problems with the turbos on the diesel engines failing because of emission blunders. Both have more truck problems with the ten speed automatic transmission they jointly developed.

I can keep my 2002 Ford Taurus going for a long time for less than the first year deprecation on anything new. Bonus: What  is more anonymous than a gray Taurus without a single bumper sticker or dealer logo?

Blue State Blues

We’re #2, Most Dangerous State

Grumpy Old Keyboard Warrior Bloviates

Colorado’s own USAID

I will get to the point after some background information. In and around Denver, the name, “Rose”, has special meaning. Denver native, General Maurice Rose, died in WWII while personally leading men in combat. That may not have been wise for a man of his rank, but that is what he did. He was Jewish, and the local Jewish community have established a hospital in his name. My oldest son was born in that hospital.

Co-opting his name is the Rose Foundation.

MORE

They have long been used in ways similar to USAID. They receive some taxpayer money as grants. They spend it how they please with no applied oversight (except for a wink and a nod). Outsiders are now trying to investigate, again, where the money goes and who controls the expenditures. Alas, no Elon Musk power here.

Magnesium

Critical metal; we rely on China and Russia for what we need. Not smart, IMO.

MORE

Key phrase from the above article.

“Wyoming is a phenomenal state to work with when it comes to natural resources and this type of research.”

 Humor

My wife used to complain that I ruined our anniversaries. That was ridiculous, cause I didn’t know it was our anniversary in the first place. (Yes, I’m still divorced.)

Jon Caldera

Democrats, everywhere? What is a balance sheet?

Financial mismanagement and a desire for no transparency seem to be an integral part of the Democrat Party, even in Wyoming.

MORE

Key takeaways. Case and others noted that the party hadn’t had a consistent treasurer for about five years. Case said it took him about six months to sort through the party’s finances and put together his report.

“I’m not comfortable with the press taking pictures of our budget,” said O’Doherty. “I would formally request the media not share any of this information outside the room.”

Wyoming is so overwhelming GOP the Democrat Party is more of a social club. They do occasionally get a RINO elected, as an example, Liz Cheney.

 Colorado 8th Congressional District

The district I live in was added after the last census. The first election was won, narrowly, by a Democrat. The second was won, narrowly, by a Republican. At this time, five Democrats have announced their intent to run for the seat at mid-terms. Already I’m receiving mailers vilifying the GOP  incumbent.

There must be money to be made. Last election, $40,000,000 spent.

MORE

$40 million for one pissant Congressional seat.

May Their Mouths Overload Their Asses

Grumpy Old Man Rant

You may want to skip this Colorado specific bloviating.

The rejection of the (P)regressive agenda that swept the nation and put PDJT back into the Oval Office barely touched Colofornia. The past Legislative session saw the gaggle of Front Range Karens and mountain town trust fund snots push the full gender bending agenda, curtailing parental control, odious unconstitutional gun control, eroding free speech, and more environment fallacies.

While “helping” the underdogs (which I support) they perpetuate dependency while creating well paid jobs for their chosen few to ‘administer’ the programs.

In Colorado, tax increases from the state level to a water district, by our constitution, require voter approval. So, let’s just label them “fees”. No problem with the courts as our state Supreme Court judges are 100% (P)regressives.

Fix our roads? No, it is more important to take $4,000,000 from that budget and create a war chest for Emperor Polis to fight Trump.

One glimmer of hope lies in the Democrats abject failure to elect county commissioners in the rural counties and pickup any federal Congressional seats.

Hurrah!

Sorry, wrong picture

The environazis lose again. Outside of the Front Range sprawl, EVs are of limited use in Colorado. To forcible shove them down rural Coloradoan throats is an abuse of power. Said abuse has never deterred the environazis. Their feelings will always overrule mere facts and/or what harms ‘lesser’ citizens.

MORE

Wolves

They are getting closer to Aspen.  Maybe they will develop a taste for trust fund snots.

MORE

Wolves will be wolves, much to the disappointment of their advocates.

MORE

The same wolf advocates are pushing to re-introduce grizzles to Colorado.

Uinta Basin Railroad wins, Environazis lose

Previous posts have mentioned the effort to move heavy crude from one of the poorest places in the country to refineries that can process it. A win for Northeast Utah and a loss to Venezuela is always worth cheering, IMO. For the trust fund snots infesting Eagle County, their NIMBY asses can kick rocks.

 MORE

Once again, the Supreme Court has put unelected bureaucrats on notice their overreach won’t fly anymore. An 8-0 decision? I’m amazed.
