Brighid https://brighidsplace.blogspot.com/2019/06/moments.html has a
post showing granddaughter growing up. Made me think of my three youngest who
will be a high school senior, high school freshman, and elementary fourth
grader.
Doesn’t seem that long ago.
Two oldest are off on their own. No great
grand-kids yet. Better for them to get established in life I believe.
My middle son has a son but the birth
mother is crazier than a bag of cats (h/t Kim du Toit) and restricts access.
Hopefully that will change in the years ahead.
Yeah, and it's picking up speed on us... sigh.
ReplyDeleteAnd we just all keep on keepin' on, NFO!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind getting older but my body is having issues.
ReplyDeleteThey do grow up fast! My youngest grand turned 15 this spring!
ReplyDeleteI'm very blessed that I have gotten to spend time with all of mine.
My mind tells me I can go as hard and fast as I did when my kids were young,
occasional bouts of common sense put paid to that.
I have refused to sign up for the pickle ball league,
but will be joining the shoot'n range group...
You can beat a lot of things but you can never beat the clock.
ReplyDeleteAnd all the money on the planet can’t buy one second of time.

ReplyDeleteI pay annual dues to the Senior Center but never go there.
