My 2
nd computer wouldn’t connect to the
internet. Paranoid, I assumed Microsoft, with their shitty Windows 11, was
trying to force me to use shit like Edge and Co-pilot. After much cursing and
increasing paranoia, I checked all the cable connections. Suddenly, everything
started working.
That matches my cursing the new coffee pot. After much
consternation, I added water. Miracle! Coffee!
Truly, there is no fool like an old fool. At least the
little head no longer thinks for the big head (much).
Local Hypocrisy
With much publicity the Greeley Police Department is
introducing “photo radar” and will issue tickets. Recently, while driving 40 mph
on a posted 35 mph four lane street, a Greeley patrol SUV passed me going much
faster. No lights or sirens. Lead by example?

Emperor Polis signed into law HB 25-1171. If you are
convicted of vehicle theft, you cannot use or posses a firearm in Colorado.
Somehow the idea someone stealing cars isn’t likely to care about another law
must escape these people. The senator representing my district, Andrew
Bosenecker was a sponsor.
As an aside, he wasn’t elected. He was a State
Representative. When a Democrat Senator, newly elected, then decided to ‘retire’,
the party picked him to fill the vacancy. That is the way (P)regressives roll
in Colorado.
Doggone
Some readers are interested in Banner, the smelly treat
hound that shares my home. Age 13, he seemed to be declining. Then, he developed
bad diarrhea. Off to the vet where fecal examination revealed three different
parasites in his gut. After a few days on meds, he is alert and energetic.
I took pictures of the 20’ of poop across the apartment
to show to the vet. Nobody I offered to share the pictures with accepted the
offer. Should you want to see them, ask in comments.
The blasted beast is a glutton who will eat almost
anything. He is especially fond of grass which may be contaminated with bird
droppings. He gets high quality food along with chlorophyll drops but still
grazes.

Today our President Donald J. Trump says he's considering taking $3 Billion Dollars in grants from Harvard University and giving it to Trade Schools across the United States.
His comments, which were made on Truth Social, come less than a week after his administration blocked Ivy League school from enrolling foreign students, especially after those Anti-Semitic Riots that they call protests. As President Trump has said, “WE will NOT Telerate these types of Protests any longer.
Be grateful for your freedom; remember it should never be taken for granted. In just a few cycles of Progressive Communist Democrat intervention, we have seen our national resolve, military Strength, and Stature within the international community eroded by corrupt, incompetent, and uncaring Progressive Communist Democrats. As always on Memorial Day there are some names I remember but in truth, I remember them every day. And, I should like to be given to understand why some things are given an entire month, whilst other things of greater import are only allotted 24 hours. Various history and pride months, for example, as compared to and contrasted with Veterans Day, Armed Forces Day, Patriot's Day (the one we used to recognize as April 19th), and the aforementioned Memorial Day a.k.a. Decoration Day in year's past. Sorry for the formal tone of my complaint, but I tend to use formal language when I'm pissed.
Strange, no one has asked to see the pictures. Even his Vet wasn't all that interested. Likewise, I remember names every day. Months? I pay no attention; politicians pandering to various groups.
