More Smoke II

1300 and people have their headlights on. A steady stream of ash and burnt needles keeps falling.

The color of the picture is accurate.

  1. It's really spooky looking here; 60*, sickly orange-yellow sky, and it looks like it's snowing....

  2. That is NOT good, especially for anyone with breathing issues. Stay safe!

    Too weird.

The smoke seems to be around 1,500 AGL but the ash and needles are falling steadily. Reminds me of WA State when Mt. Saint Helena blew.

  4. I wondered the same thing Navy commented on-
Are breathing-compromised people beginning to have trouble?

  5. My Sweet Little Wife has a touch of asthma, and the smoke is making her use her inhaler for the first time this summer.

Lots of complaints by my neighbors on oxygen.

the smoke is starting to infiltrate the building hallways and some of my neighbors are hurting.

  8. I think it will start clearing tonight. The forecast is calling for a 100% 'chance' of precipitation with an accumulation of ~1/2".

Tomorrow we're forecast for 90% chance, and 2"~4" of accumulation.

Should help clear the air and beat down the fire.

  10. They set up on that corner frequently. Sell Trump gear. When I promised to pu them on FB they gave me a, "Blue Lives Matter" bumper sticker.

  11. Well done them. Off topic, but have you found time to use the fishing license?
