Irritating Generations of Women
Any woman involved with a man who served in Germany after
WWII.
In talking with a neighbor who served there in the 1960’s,
he brought this up. I remember several women, including my ex, who hated this
song.
Back in Bobby's day, we called them 'crooners.' Bobby Helms was more of a 'whiner.' His 'Jingle Bell Rock' was a toe tapper, but other than that I had to turn off the radio, his voice got on my nerves.

Two problems with singing it to the coven.
1. I can't sing. True, the worst singer you don't want to hear.
2. Lack of courage.
To the best of my knowledge, didn't share.

ReplyDeleteWomen resent any former girlfriend, real or not. My ex was a classic example.
