Watching several minutes of video this screen shot came from, some random thoughts flitted through my mind.
Everyone else was in shirt sleeves while the President wore a wind breaker. My guess is he has body armour. Must be hot. Probably a concession to the Secret Service and/or his recognition of personal responsibility to the country.
Speaking of the Secret Service, I find the protection agents body language interesting. You can tell they 'like' the person they are protecting. With Obama, they looked like robots.
I liked that the President and First Lady got their hands dirty, not once, but several times. I liked the way he acted with the citizens driving down the line to pick up supplies. Shaking hands, posing with them for selfies, etc., while letting the process of loading vehicles continue with little delay. Not a scripted event to boost his image but an appearance to give aid and comfort to the victims and volunteers.
My take is the Trumps are genuine.

I can tell you from personal interaction with protection details, that the Secret Service had no use for Barack, but they think that the Trumps are genuinely nice people who appreciate the people who keep them safe.

DeleteNever to question the dedication and commitment of the secret service, but I have to wonder if it came down to taking a shot for POTUS Obama, they would be a step slow.

The puppet masters liked Hillary because she is completely corrupt as it slick willy and they don't mind picking up a turd from either end, or from the middle.

There is the puppet master angst of blowing a financial investment and the (P)regressive angst of blowing an emotional investment.
DeleteAll you have to do is look at the number of volunteers in the military for HMX-1/White House/Old Guard to see the difference. VERY few ever volunteered the last 8 years, most had to be ordered to those positions. Today, there is a standing list of volunteers!

DeleteClass and upbringing always come through in the long run. The Clintons and Obamas will be back, though: Michelle and Chelsea are waiting in the wings, ready to lead the country forward.

DeleteYet, the mainstream doesn't showcase any of this and the liberals plague Trump's interactions with kids and folks as awkward, using snippits of action to get their spin across. I am to the point I cannot believe anything anymore and prefer video over snapshots. Liked this post.
