One drawback of having 50+ first cousins is they are mortal. Not the assholes, of course, but the good ones.

 Just learned today that one passed. Saw him just this past May. Producer of 38 home videos.

    This is very hard news. Cancer has pruned a bunch from our family tree over the years. It does NOT receive Christmas cards from us or presents. I hurt for Paul's mother & siblings that weren't ready for this end. Neither were the rest of us. The other cousin is one helluva fighter. Knowing only good for him. Sisty

      Sometimes I wonder if the family trait of toughness is a blessing or a curse.
