What I've found alarming, over the years of going to many veteran reunions, how veterans can't be bothered to vote.
Refering to Donin Sacto's remark, maybe we should ask them how they feel about an incumbent, then point out that they did vote for him/her.
We only wish we lived in a perfect world...and I am amazed at how many people in academia DO NOT vote. They are the biggest whiners.
