Poor Dogs, Facing Unemployment?

Man’s best friend is being slapped down by the courts.  Remember, marijuana is legal, with restrictions, in Colorado. From Craig, CO.

There is a pithy remark that has a link to the entire court opinion. I grew up 40 miles from there and have many connections to the area. Law enforcement in that town has always been, shall we say, “flexible”.

Speaking of “flexible” another case where people are at the mercy of petty tyrants.

Sucks to live in public housing.

Remember, folks, Colorado laws only apply within the state borders and state law enforcement. Will you be searched by Feds? Maybe, and Federal law will apply.

Surrounding states? Oh yah! Those folks read, too.

My advice to visitors and residents? Do your baking in private, not on the roads, and find another way to get your stash home instead of your car. Colorado borders seven states, all with some very sharp Smokies, that love drug busts and have no restrictions on their dogs.

I'm planning on driving my Supra back to see my friends in Illinois next summer.

I will be extremely careful once I get out of Colorado headed East. I'm not a "cannabis person", but then I don't need any kind of hassle whatsoever...

A Supra will draw attention because they are rare and a lot of police are motorheads. Amateur Call Letter plates may help. If time isn't a factor, I would take US 30. I-80 is wall to wall 18 wheelers and I-70 takes you through the Kansas City and St Louis nightmare. Might add another eight hours to your trip each way.

I was stopped going through NMEX but he left the hound in the police car and we talked about Raptors. I have no idea what the pretext for the stop was, but he said that he had been looking for a used one and asked what I knew of things that commonly went wrong.

Happened to me a few times driving prototypes/pre-production for Roush. Lots of police are into cars and trucks.

Be interesting to see private cell phone records of CO LEOs and their out of state LEO buddies. Just saying.

I'll Colorado Amateur plates on the Jeep after I get my "vanity" callsign with a zero in it instead of a six. I'm one of those Old Skool Hams who think your callsign should reflect where you live.

I'm looking into "collector car" plates for the Supra, and have a dozen or so plate combinations picked that reflect what the car is.

I've been stopped twice in Arizona by FJ Cruiser owning troopers to talk about what I did, why I did it, how I did it and does it work. I actually don't mind. It's an opportunity to palaver and since I too carry tin, it all works.
