Human Nature

A friend, Don Wendt,  replaced his water heater. What to do with the old useless water heater?

He placed it on the curb with a large sign, FOR SALE $100. Within hours it was stolen.

I'll use that in the future.

Haha.. now that's funny. :-D

Did you ever read about the garbage strike in NYC back in the late 60s? Apparently there were people who boxed and gift-wrapped their garbage, then left it on the seat of their car. Problem solved.

You should have posted this last Friday. I had to replace a commode and could have done the same thing with the old one. I tried to get my grandson to take it and make a flower pot out of it, but no go. This would have been a better solution than hauling it off.

After the scrap yard laughed at them they probably dumped it somewhere.

The back story is that he first put it on the curb with a FREE sign. No takers. Slap a price tag on it...GONE.

What a brilliant man. I might use that idea.

Don is one of the smartest people I've met. Too bad he has the alcohol problem.
