Equal Time?

The mainstream media gets, rightfully, criticized for bias and selective reporting. When one sees some semblance of balanced reporting, it needs to be highlighted.

Colorado's oldest television station is doing what all the media should, and rarely does, research and report, rather than passing on press releases from their favorites. Hope it is a trend.

Honestly, I'm amazed... GOOD for them!

Hope it drives up their ratings.

I am in shock! I can't tell you when the last time I saw balanced reporting...the 90's?

I seriously doubt it will become a trend. So much easier to just copy and paste from the AP feed. Paste the errors and everything. Our local 'news' station's website is appalling with the errors, irresponsible reporting and stupidity. It's actually so bad it's amusing.

I'm sure the person responsible for the decision to do something balanced will be fired soon. :)

If then.

Fired soon? most likely, unless their ratings went up.

Yes, if then.

This station has been doing this for several election cycles. Not saying that they are perfect but they generally don't blindly follow the media path.

Thanks for the update. As you know, I don't watch television, and haven't for a long time.
